Experience

My name is Denise Davis and I have been teaching for 28 years and felt the time had come for me to concentrate on inspiring and empowering children in a less formal setting. I want to help them make a difference in their lives, to become well balanced and confident children, because today’s children are tomorrow’s future and as such deserve to be revered. I have four wonderful grown up children of my own plus grandchildren I adore and I just love the times we all get together and have fun.

My therapy practice was initially for adults (combining this with teaching part-time) but I discovered there is a proliferation of therapists for people who experience difficulties in our frenetic world, but children seem to have been overlooked. So I gave up teaching to specialise in children’s therapy and as my passion is working with children, coupled with my love for therapy it is an ‘ideal’ profession.

Through life children encounter many issues that hinder them one way or another; traumas, emotional problems, unwanted habits and fears.

In May 2008, I featured on BBC Three Counties radio discussing fears and phobias and how to overcome them with Roberto Perrone. I believe there is always a reason behind a child’s behaviour, and with my techniques I can help them have more control of their negative emotions and physical pain to become calm. I’m continually developing professionally by going on courses plus reading and research, because I believe that life is a continual learning process and this means that I remain fresh, with new experiences to draw from.

Qualifications

Qualified Primary School Teacher, Master Trainer/Practitioner in NLP & Time Line Therapy, Hypnotherapy, EFT level III Practitioner, Reiki Master/Teacher, Master Energy Colour Therapist, IMAGO relationship experience, Master Seeing Spelling & Achieving Practitioner, Psychic & Intuitive Healer/Reader, Degree in Business Studies, and Advanced International Florist.

I have CRB clearance (police checked), public liability insurance and have accreditation from ABNLP, Time Line Assoc, AAMET and GHR.
